Last updated: 18 June 2026. This policy explains how SpecSnap handles your data, consistent with India’s DPDP Act, 2023 and GDPR principles.

1. What we collect

• Spec request text you submit, sent to our AI model provider to generate output. We do not sell this data.
• Usage counts stored locally in your browser to enforce the free-tier limit.
• Account & billing details for paid subscribers, processed by Razorpay/Stripe.

2. How we use it

To generate spec sheets, operate and improve the Service, and process payments. We do not use your submitted requests to train models.

3. Retention

Free-tier requests are processed transiently and not stored server-side in v1. Account data is kept while your subscription is active and deleted on request.

4. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@specsnap.app.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics for aggregate usage. No third-party advertising trackers.
